It is not your imagination. The weather is probably even hotter than it feels! “Heat waves” are not commonly attributed with Africa, much less Abuja. But if they were, this would certainly be labeled as a heat wave. In the last week alone temperatures have risen over 90 degrees Fahrenheit every day and will continue to do so until rainy season graces us with its presence. In the meantime, we need to make sure we stay hydrated, happy, and nutrient-filled. Here is one healthy, yummy smoothie that can help you do just that!

These ingredients not only taste amazing together, but they are good for you. Spinach alone is a low calorie super food with nutrients that are good for your hair, skin, and bones. Spinach is packed with vitamins and minerals and whether you are trying to improve or maintain your health, spinach should be a constant staple in your diet.
Moringa is a favourite of those who believe in herbal remedies over manufactured tablets. This leaf has mysterious healing qualities, provides increased energy, and is highly nutritious.
